It's Beginning to Look a Lot like Christmas

Though there's not a ton of snow. I wonder if that's going to change....

Well, Scotty came home and, sadly, he's already gone back to work. It's kind of strange having someone around after being alone for so long...but it was nice. Back to just me and a sleepy George for another 6 days. 
So yesterday Scotty was able to get his Christmas shopping done. When I got home, we went to the mall near our house quick and he was able to run into a friend who he hadn't seen in a few months, which was nice. Then we went to the grocery store where a lot of money was spent...BUT NOW I'm ready to do a bunch of Christmas baking :D It's going to be a busy week...
We then picked up some blizzards from DQ (because I had a BOGO{I just realized BOGO stands for buy one get one...}coupon) and then also picked up some sushi to take home :D We both got stuffed and vowed never to have sushi again (for at least 2-3 weeks that is :>).
Today was basically a lazy day for both of us but pretty quick here, I'll be heading out to babysit for my brother for a couple hours. (Boo to leaving the house and my nice cozy lounging clothes!)

SO! December 15th has arrived and I'm supposed to share the best gift I've ever given...and I actually have no answer to this. Just because I think I'm giving a pretty thoughtful/nice gift to someone, doesn't mean it seems as awesome to them. I do love giving people awesome gifts...but it's not as though I really keep a tab of the gifts I've given. Though that may be because my memory has been seeming to get worse and worse.
Or maybe I just haven't given that awesome of gifts ;)

I don't know. But I do know there's only 10 days until Christmas!

12 days of Christmas time!
On the 3rd day of Christmas a Trudy gave to you, 3 pomegranates, 2 pairs of sweatpants and a fuzzy kitten named Georgey.

I LOVE pomegranates. (I just realized I didn't pick any up at the grocery store D: ...). Sadly, they're only out around the fall/winter season. I remember when I was younger, I was always excited for when pomegranates would FINALLY pop up in the grocery store (not as though that's changed...I'm still excited for the first pomegranate, though usually...the first one of the year isn't that amazing).
As I looked up this picture on Google, I read that one pomegranate should feed 4 people. Uhm...really?? I eat these things by the wholesies. Filling? Yes. But it's all mine. 
I cut the pomegranate in half and then lay out a towel \blanket and sit and devour it.

Do you remove all the arils (seeds) before eating? Or do you just gnaw them out?

I realize most of you are likely a liiiittle more classy than me ;).

He's back! (For now...)

Meaning Scotty. He was back by the time I got home Monday night (which isn't saying a whole lot as I don't get home until about 6ish), and I was greeted with a feast!
Chicken cordon bleu  (m&m's), steamed broccoli and some roasted taters. 
So good! (Especially those potatoes...*drool*)

So it's definitely nice to have Scott back...but now I have to get used to having more than just a sweet little George in the bed with me. What happened to Trudy sleeping in the middle of the bed??? D:

Needlesstosay...I haven't been sleeping the best these past couple of night. But I'll get used to it...and then he'll go out again and so the cycle will continue - hooray!

Last night, we had a date night! Which included a hot bevy from Starbucks :3, the newest James Bond movie - Skyfall, and just a little bit of sushi afterwards (because we were both kind of full after having chocolate almonds during the movie... and yes, of course we bought those in the theater.....>.>...).

Fun night, good movie!

If you're into Bond (which I'd probably say most people are), you should DEFINITELY see it. It was a little different from the other bonds... but it was kind of neat in the sense that it was a 50th anniversary movie and they brought back a few things (if you're familiar with the old 007 films). I won't go into anymore details than that. It was good ;).

OH! And did I mention the song?? Great Bond song Adele ;)

Any day now.

It'll snow. ANY DAY! ...it's a frightening thought. Although we've been having some beautiful transitionary (yes...totally a word) weather as it's been turning from summer to fall. The leaves have all mostly changed color and are beginning to fall EVERYWHERE. But it's made for some nice, sunny fall days.

As for today, we've got some rain. And jeez...it's been a long time! A good long time ;)

My update for lately... well...still working out? haha. Still eating food. Still sleeping and breathing and such.  I don't know! If you want to know something, then you ask me ;l.
What've you been up to?

This past weekend. Scott and I hung out a bit with the Benifred and Francesca and then we did absolutely nothing productive (wow, we kind of fail). But it was a nice weekend :D

So Saturday, we went out to Kinjo for sushi with B and F and it was delish! Of course I only eat a few, not really sushi-ish type things...but it was fun. The last thing B, F and Scott ordered was this crazy looking Dragon roll.

You see what I'm saying? Scary.

What we got afterwards however, was not so scary... ;)

We choose you DQ Pikachu! Choose to eat you that is :D And you were delicious, thank you.

And then we played some Super Smash Bros until I got tired at 9:30. Haha. Yes, I am that lame.
I've become so so old. But at least I get delightfulsome sleep ;).
I just don't enjoy staying up late anymore.

So, somewhere between the time of when I stopped posting and now...I've taken a few pictures. And now I share them with you!

Hola Senora!

Alright, so basically. I've had a bunch of posts just piling up because I've been too busy/lazy/sickly to get them up. A couple weeks ago, Scott was still in town, and we headed to a mall to do a little wandering (we frequently wander around malls).

But what this post is getting to, is what we had for lunch. SUSHI! I had once said I'll never try sushi (and technically I haven't really tried much sushi at all) but I've tried cucumber rolls and I love them :D

So really it depends on if you consider these sushi. Because I won't eat any of the crazy fishy ones. But these are delicious :3

Scott will try all sorts of crazy concoctions. How could someone so sweet enjoy such disturbing things??

OH! Except one little update... Scott and I found an apartment! Basement suite, lease for 9 months just because it's pretty decent and in the meantime, we can look for something else.
