Is it sad that I just tried to "Follow" myself? Don't answer that...
Anyways, look at me go! Getting a blog up on a Monday like a big girl!
Do I have much to say? Not at all...
Do I have anything to say? I'm sure I could ramble on about something... :P
Soooo yaaaaaa. How was yoouuuuurrr weekend? ;) {That isn't meant to infer anything...so if you're thinking anything ridiculous or perverted right now, it's your own fault}.
My weekend was pretty alright. Definitely had it's ups and downs.
Downs? Strongbad and I...well...had a fairly rough patch that may or may not be over. Should be alright though.
Ups? Well, GODIVA chocolate was boughten on Friday. {amg, drool...}. Lately Mami and I have been getting a few of those {each} once a week because, well, they're just SO GOOD! {I've been taking a break from the glorious Slab (yes, that Marble one...)}. So, if you've never been...GO! They're buy 3 get one free right now (yes...they're fairly pricey. even after the 4th being free, it's like 7 bucks ._.). However, they're so good and quite rich...so you can't {or rather you shouldn't be} eating as many anyways. 'Nuff said.
Saturday, I made the cake I had made for Mami's birthday again. It was delish yet again. ;) Don't worry...we haven't been gorging ourselves {in public :D}.
Soooo yesterday was Sunday, and in the evening...Mami and I watcchhheedd Sense and Sensibility.
Have you seen it?
I actually hadn't even seen it before. It was pretty good until about half way through the movie it was like... "O.O What in the name of blonde Severus Snape is going on here?!?!". I just couldn't do it - I couldn't think of him (Whatever his real name is....) as anything more than Severus Snape. I kind of wish I had seen this movie before Harry Potter...
But alas, beggers can't be choosers {not that that really applies in this circumstance...oh well *shrugs*}.
Anyways, it was a pretty good movie! So if you're into that type of movie and haven't seen it...go for it! {WARNING: Blonde Severus Snape will still be there, even when you watch it}
While I was watching that movie, it made me think about that era. And how very very glad I am, that I did not live then.
1. The etiquette was so...well, you know me...enough said.
2. Those long heavy dresses. All. The. Time. One word - No.
3. The dancing. Jumping around like prancing ponies.
4. The focus on marriage...well that just reminds me of us Mormons actually -.-
5. The way they talk...is actually really awesome! (When I was making fun of it through the entire movie, it was only because I liked it so much.)
Wow. Clearly someone forgot to take their pill today.
Crazy signing out.
Au revoir for meow :)!
RANDOM FACT ABOUT ME -- Ever since I was young, I've enjoyed turning on (and up) music and singing and dancing around to my hearts content. {Yes, that's why I enjoyed being home alone so much...}. Today this song came on the radio, and I specifically remember it being one of my fave's. {MJ and JJ for life!} ;)
Toodles. I, now, must away.
Sometimes I just feel like rambling. Oddly enough, I'm more likely to share things here than to write a journal. So here we gooo....

Sweet, Sweet August...
Hopefully you bring many a sunny day (ok...listen to this song, I hadn't heard it in sooo long)!
Well helllllloooo! So basically, I haven't been on here in a while. There's some story about a robbery, getting seriously injured while trying to save the day and a baby. But alas...this story would be made up and make little to no sense ;).
I don't really have excuses, I've just been busy and preoccupied by other things as of late. PLUS this past weekend I moved! I'm still in the same city, and I'm still living with one of the same room mates (Mami).
RUNDOWN ON MAMI -- Alright, soooo she's very talented and smart and has been to school and had a lot of life experiences. She's already going places with her life but she's going back to school in the fall nonetheless to further her education ;). Very fun, fun to be around and just all around awesome. Not to mention...she's a total babe! She's multi-lingual and has been helping me learn a few random Spanish and French words/sayings. :D Her and I have decided that I'm Wispanic (wannabe Hispanic....)
AND BACK WE GOOOOO
So yes, Mami and I spent Friday evening/Saturday morning moving all of our things and cleaning a bunch. Our new place basically looked like a bomb went off because we're both kind of clean freaks/germ-a-phobes and we wanted everything to be washed down and cleaned before putting things away at all. Let me just say... a lot of bleach water and other cleaning supplies have been used. (Seriously though, fridge...kitchen, cupboards, counters, all walls, curtains and so on have been/will be cleaned). We've spent many an hour cleaning and there's still a bit more to do...but the majority seems to be coming together :)! It's nice to finally get more settled and organized. BIG shout out to everyone who helped us this weekend, we seriously appreciate it!! (You know who you were).
A couple more random shout outs...
1. Francesca...your brownies (or cookies, or browwwnnniesss) on Sunday were seriously delicious! I love you.
2. Strongbad - hope all is well.
3. Lambie - the mattress is so delightful, THANKS!
SO, I know I never got around to this earlier (I swears I meant to)... but HP7.2 review will occur now! So obviously the movies can't compare with the books but I thought it was good! I'd give it...probably ****/5. It was well done for effects and graphics and such, and it takes you on a vast emotional journey ranging from anger, to sadness, to happiness. And I feel like it all ends nicely :).
I don't recall if I've mentioned this at all yet, but lately I've tried and become somewhat attached to a Vietnamese dish. I don't remember what it's called...but it's basically little noodles (noods), and beef and it's just tasty :)
Random beauty tip for you well... (got this from Mami)...instead of using expensive makeup removers, use Johnson's Baby Oil (on a little cotton pad). She swears by this, and I see her use it all the time and it clearly works. Waterproof or anything, this inexpensive alternative works!
Toodles for meow :)!
RANDOM FACT ABOUT ME -- Well, first off... Mami and I watched Selena (yes, with Jennifer Lopez) on Sunday night. I had forgotten how much I loved this movie! I used to watch this over and over when I was younger and I could still quote lines, and know lots of the songs and so on.
Everytime I watch this movie , it makes me wonder how much more she would've done and where she'd be today if she'd been given the chance. Anyways... here's a few of my favorite songs ;) 1 .... 2 .... 3

It's a beautiful life
Isn't it?
Life is pretty good and hopefully for all y'all as well.
Lately I've been watching the Harry Potter movies with a couple of friends in preparation to see the 8th (7 part 2) and final movie - And the time has almost come! (As in we're done watching the past ones, but aren't going to see the new one until tomorrow as it's cheap Tuesday ;>).
SO! I shall let you know what I think :)
I hadn't seen the Harry Potter movies in quite some time, so it was good to catch up. It's interesting watching them close to one another so you can see the increasing appeal to adults in the later movies and also just watching the main characters grow. Harry Potter (and everyone else) looks so little in The Philosopher's Stone (the first one)! And then, in every movie after that... he just looks plain awkward (at least I think so). But look how cute they were~!
Annnndddd on to a much better topic...ice cream :D Just kidding, but I did have a fairly good amount of ice cream this weekend ;) PLUS I've corrupted one of my room mates into eating ice cream more >:3 (she likes it with my cookie dough). And I have yet to do a rundown on her...but I'll call her Mami ;) {I've been watching Harry Potter with her, her friend, and my other room mate}. Speaking of Mami's friend...(I'll call him Superman), he had a Birthday on Friday and party on Sunday (I got to be a part of both days). And I got to eat some pretty delicious cake...seriously. Anyways, Happy Birthday Superman!
And with that I'm calling it a day! Yesterday and today I've been listening to Ace of Base... they're awesome.
Fare well for meow :)!
P.S. Ace of Base (The Sign) was my first CD...I "borrowed" it from my sister Lambie ;)
RANDOM FACT ABOUT ME -- Sometimes I have a tendency to either make up words or add suffixes to the end of words, where they should not be added. Example...
We were in choir and working on a more difficult song, so the guys and the girls went in separate rooms to practice. The guys come back at the end.
Me: "Did you enjoy your male bondage time?"
Everyone: o.o (stares and laughs awkwardly)
Me: "Oh shoot..." -.-
