Alright, alright...

So I figure I should get on this post before I lose all motivation to do it... and also all recollection of the trip itself!

So...California was awesome! We flew into San Diego and spent 5 days there. First night, we went on a decently long walk (few miles each way) and up quite the hill(!) to get some frozen yogurt at Cup of Yo :D It was delicious! In the states, they have frozen yogurt places everywhere! You pick your flavor(s), you put on your toppings, and then you weigh it in and pay based on how much you have! And it's kind of cheap as well! For a huge cup...it was like 5 bucks! Not to mention it was delicious.
After that first experience, I wanted it every day after that... but we only went 3 of the 5 nights (not that we didn't find more elsewhere!) ;)
(I never got a picture of my cup because 1. I scarfed it down immediately, and 2. I never carried my phone around with me)

Other things done in San Diego are as follows (in no particular order)...

•  Well, we rented a car... and ended up with a nice Challenger ;) Scott thoroughly enjoyed cruising around in that!
• Trader Joe's (I've never been, and I wanted to check it out as I've heard about it...) We tried a few snacks like crackers and cheese, chips, cat cookies, Cookie Butter (haven't tried it yet), and Peanut Butter. All tasty so far :D
• Beach! It was alright... too seaweedy  for my likings, but the sand was nice :3
• Got sun burnt...after the beach day...
• Took the ferry to... Catalina Island?? I don't remember, but that's where we beached.
• Saw downtown (it was crazy...no parking)
• Saw the Midway (that's been decommissioned, lots of cool planes on there)
• Went in a couple Submarines and on the Star of India and a "Pirate Ship" (that was actually used for the first Pirate's movie - apparently)
• Sea World! I've finally seen Shamu ;) Pretty crazy what they can train the whales, Sea Lions, and Dolphins to do. 
• Went to the San Diego Temple...which was really nice and had delicious food :D
• Shark Week on TV! (Scary, but we both still swam in the Ocean!)
• Both of us got our hair cut!

Now Scott's hair is all short! And there's me! ;)

Then we headed to Anaheim for a week! We had a hotel right across from Disney Land, and here's what we got up to there...

• Disney Land of course! 1 day in Disneyland, 1 day in California Adventure, and half a day on our favorite rides! (Everything is way too expensive there...) (Tower of Terror is the best)
• More exploring... we both got some new runners (shoes are cheaper there)
• Hollywood Blvd! Crazy busy... and lots of crazies. 
• Universal Studios. Tons of fun, but insane lines!
• Venice Beach - so fun! Awesome beach, nice clear water. Good day B) ...Burnt again unfortunately....
•  We also brought home some Peanut Butter Captain Crunch - it's so good! Why don't they have that here????!?!?
• Oh ya... I also got these! Unfortunately when they fully dried, they didn't stay together very well... and I ended up leaving them in California (mainly because there was no room!) But they were cute while they lasted.

And sadly, the time eventually came to head home.

But this little hummingbird was there to bid us adieu! :D (yes, the little speck on the line)

And there was frozen yogurt at the John Wayne Airport to console me ;) (it was so yummy!)

And although it's always sad to leave and come back to real life and all the daily tasks, it's still good to be back. 
It was a good honeymoon and adventure and I can't wait until the next one :D

I've been hit!

Let me just start off by saying...I was wound-jured this morning. He told me not to tell anyone, so if I go missing or if you see a shower door following you around - BEWARE! o.o'

So I haven't really given an "update" in awhile. There really isn't a whole lot going on, but I reckon there's a few things that have likely happened.

So the long weekend was good - it was nice to see Scott :) And then on Monday I stopped by to see some family in Strathmore. It was a nice day so we even walked to the spray park :D and made some ice cream (which always makes for a good day).

Then it was back to work on Tuesday, nothing all that exciting going on at work...and after work time has mainly consisted of...

• Seinfeld
• working out
• walking
• ducks
• food
• ya...that's it

Not a whole lot going on when Scott is gone...even though it's basically the same when Scott is back, just not as lonely ;)

Now...I don't know if I've mentioned it or not, but Scott and I haven't really been on a "Honeymoon" yet. So, we're going back to where I was 2 years ago -- California :DDDD~!

We leave Tuesday (16th) morning and fly into San Diego, and then we stay there for about 5 days. After that, we're driving up to Anaheim (and back to Disneylannnnnnnddd - yes, I'm still a child) for about a week. We fly out of Anaheim and back to Calgary on Sunday the 26th. And let me tell you...I'm excited :3!

SO I'm going to have to get on getting ready for that. Be aware, all you non-existent readers, that you may not really be seeing many posts from me in the next 2 weeks.

But hope all is well with you, and that you enjoy the tail end of your summer!

Hopefully I don't shrivel up to a crisp in Cali...

Happy Tuesday after Easter Weekkkeeennnd?

QUICK. Alright, I'm not giving a full on how my weekend went down and what's up post just yet because that will just take too much time for my liking. ;) I will say, however, that I did head home and I got to drive my little GEO around! Though I didn't bring it back quite yet...I'm afraid it'll snow again sometime D:

Annyyywaaaayyysss...where I'm going with this post. Last summer when I went to California...I (and W) bought some ridiculous(ly awesome) sunglasses from Venice Beach. And I love them and wear them all the time until.... TRAGEDY STRUCK! I had thrown them on my seat and of course I forgot when I went back to get in my car and they, unfortunately, did not make it through. They did me good for almost a year. May they RIP. I will miss you. <3

And on a happier note...I had to (of course) try and replace those sunglasses. And I ended up getting more than 1 pair (ok I got 3, for $15 though! Don't judge me!). But my main pair are now these bad boys...Awesome right?!?! :D (Though I like these odd looking sunglasses for some reason...) And though I'm not the biggest fan of red, I'm quite fond of these! And though you cannot see the sides (arms?) they are white and black checkered :3

RANDOM FACT ABOUT ME -- I've never had A) expensive sunglasses or B) expensive sunglasses and that is just fine with me :D I would've been much more sad about my sunglasses if they were outrageously expensive. But I'm still sad because... well they were green and they were from Cali D: Oh well...

WHAT THE SNOW!?!?

Why is it snowing DD:
I don't mind the snow...I assure you BUT I am terribly sick of it. I'm ready for Summer right now...let alone Spring. But heck, I'll take Spring if I have to :l. All I can say is this snow better not last very long. OH! But exciting news! I'm planning to go to California this Summer :D AND DISNEYLAND! YAY! I've never been so I'm really quite excited...I don't really have any details but I shall keep updating when I know more.

So, I just showered about 20 minutes ago....I'm aware that most people would not like to hear this...but I'm going to rant about it anyways. I love showering because I love the feeling of being clean and warm....HOWEVER I hate washing conditioner out! It seems to take forever, seriously. I never know if it's out, it never feels like it's out :l it frustrates me. Oh, and leg shaving is a long annoying process. But yea...that's enough.

Speaking of leg shaving! Ok this has nothing to do with shaving of legs...I LOVE chocolate milk. Currently drinking some. Thing that's sad...it's 1%. 2% chocolate milk is about 12478623238714786176174 x10^million times better. It's just so creamy and good D: SO if you see 2% chocolate milk...get it! (I know they have it at Safeway) haha.

I know my blog's are fairly random with not a lot of point to them.... but oh well...ANOTHER THING! I'm going to see Alice in Wonderland tonight, kind of excited...although it looks kinda creepy, but I shall tell you how that goes. :)!
