December 1st

Good bye November. Hello, 24 days til Christmas! Crazy...

I mentioned December 1st in my last post... and asked, what it meant?

Well both Leinani and my sister, Lambie guessed it! (Go team L!)
(I would send you one as a prize...but alas, Leinani already has one and Lambie probably wouldn't even get it before Christmas!)

Advent Calender! My traditional Kinder of course ;). {2010} {2011} (Scott also has his out on the rig).

(PS, there are a BUNCH of different advent calenders now...don't have to get boring old chocolate) ;)

So I got to open number 1 today! (It was a little kinder bar - George looked at me with hunger in his eyes...).

It's nothing big, and they're not for everyone....and you're all insane. They're delicious.
So, Happy Saturday to you! I generally don't blog on a Saturday...but figured I could get a post up quick.

Today George got his shower...and although he still doesn't like it, I think he's getting used to it.
Here, he's mid drying in front of the "fireplace"...although it's not real, it dries him off much quicker.
(You have to sit with him, or he'll run away...shivering - silly cat).

And here George is...in his fluffy glory. He's still adorable.

Today I did my yogurt mask (for face and hair) again, and I learned something. If you have yogurt on your face, George will try and eat it (moreso than normal...).

And that's my Saturday ADVENTure (you get that one?? :D ) for you.

Got one for me??

Ciao for meow :)!

Devonian Gardens

Well, it's still snowy and cold. But I haven't seen as many shopping carts out and about.
Today was a little slippery out on the roads...good thing I left early so I could drive nice and slow.
I don't know about you, but when it snows (even a little bit), I just want to cuddle up and never leave the house (or my sweat pants).

So my weekend went pretty alright. I had to work Saturday, so that's never all that fun. 1 full day of weekend just isn't enough for my likings.
After work, Scott and I quickly went to pick up a few groceries and head home because Francesca and Benifred were on their way!
We got home just as they got there - perfect timing :)

Francesca told us that the Devonian Gardens had just recently reopened since being renovated...so that's where we went! Here's a few pictures...

Koi fish...they creep me right out. They're so big, and I'm pretty sure they wanted to eat us. Seriously...
Snazy. If only I couldn't see the koi fish over there!
Bubble trees! Made us think about bubble tea ;)
There were some nice views of downtown.
And here's the whole group :D
So that was a fun time :D There was even a little park to play on...though it was difficult (for us anyways). The kids were a little better... :P

Then we were all hungry...so to Peter's we went! (Sorry Benifred, for all our backseat driving...and sorry Francesca, hopefully you can get a Donair soon) ;) Milkshakes, fries and burgers...delish! Though I just had a milkshake, some fries and cereal when we got back to our place :D Then we hung out at our place for a bit and played The Game of Life. Either Benifred or myself won - let's just go with me ;)
Good times guys!
This weekend, we're having a birthday celebration for me! Hooray!

So even though he missed his regular shower day, George still got showered on Sunday. He still didn't like it so much...but he wasn't as bad as last week. And we had a nice fluffy, clean George again :D Scott had the day off because it was too wet out...so we were both able to go to church and then have a nice relaxing evening in :)
Though I wasn't able to have a good sleep last night sadly...I kept tossing and turning which is never fun.
Hopefully tonight is better.

This morning, still got up early to workout and then consider hibernating. But going to work won out...this time...

Ta ta for meow :)!

PS. What did you get up to this weekend? Any excitement??

PPS. A little trivia for you (because Scott did this to us) - Do any of you know WHY the Devonian Gardens are thus named? Hmmm??

Showering the cuteness

(The Cuteness meaning George...DANG IT...I should've named him The Cuteness{from a movie})

So every once and a while, I feel the need to give sweet little George a bath (or rather, shower) of sorts.

He doesn't hate it. But I feel like he hates me when it's happening. He doesn't really struggle, but he looks at me with such betrayal. Poor guy...
Instead of comforting him, I'm taking pictures...
Traumatized...
So, I basically feel like a horrible person while this is all going on...but he's so soft and fluffy afterwards!

At least he forgives me and still wants snuggles afterwards.

Soggy for meow :)!

Showers in all sense of the word

It's mid-June. The weather has been utter crap. For realz.

Rain, hail, winds, thunder, lightning, clouds. Garbage.
Will the sun come out tomorrow? (ok the sun is kind of out today)

But in another meaning, I had 2 bridal showers this past weekend (thus contributing to my lack of sleep). But they were really fun! Thanks to those who threw them for me...you both know who you are ;) (I would put up your names if you wanted me to).

And I'm sorry to tell you, but I actually have no pictures...from either! I was just enjoying the time.

But I will give a shout out to Nani, W, Francesca, and a bunch of my family and Scott's family for coming out. It was a good time :)

And another angle of showers, I've also taken multiple showers this past weekend? Which is pretty normal... but I guess you can bathe if you want to??

Showers for meow :)!

PS. Scott and I get married in 3 and a half weeks. AH!

PPS. Look at this intense shower...It's on sale for only 7,299.00!

PPPS. Did you know it's officially Summer? As of yesterday :o!

Soggy Trudy

So, as I mentioned in my previous post, I've been a sickly Trudy.
I ended off not last weekend, but the weekend before with some sort of flu/stomach pains. Which was fairly unpleasant.

So one of the days I went for a walk with my sister and then it started POURING on us. Needless to say, by the time we got home, we were fairly wet.
AND THEN, one of my nephews came home and wanted to jump on the trampoline in the rain (which is always awesome...and I was already wet anyways). So if I wasn't wet before, I sure was now!
Then I needed to turn cold, soggy Trudy...into warm, soggy Trudy. So shower, I did!

These were the different Trudy's through the different phases of the day. Can you tell which is which?

And then last week, I started getting a cold. (Probably because my immune system was still weak, and quite a few people around me seemed to be getting colds). And at first it didn't seem so bad...but then due to lack of rest and who knows what else, it just got worse and worse. So this past weekend was a little painful for my throat and energy levels.

Here I am on Tuesday, still with a cold...still with a dying voice. Maybe I'll get better eventually?

Hoping so for meow :)!

WHAT THE SNOW!?!?

Why is it snowing DD:
I don't mind the snow...I assure you BUT I am terribly sick of it. I'm ready for Summer right now...let alone Spring. But heck, I'll take Spring if I have to :l. All I can say is this snow better not last very long. OH! But exciting news! I'm planning to go to California this Summer :D AND DISNEYLAND! YAY! I've never been so I'm really quite excited...I don't really have any details but I shall keep updating when I know more.

So, I just showered about 20 minutes ago....I'm aware that most people would not like to hear this...but I'm going to rant about it anyways. I love showering because I love the feeling of being clean and warm....HOWEVER I hate washing conditioner out! It seems to take forever, seriously. I never know if it's out, it never feels like it's out :l it frustrates me. Oh, and leg shaving is a long annoying process. But yea...that's enough.

Speaking of leg shaving! Ok this has nothing to do with shaving of legs...I LOVE chocolate milk. Currently drinking some. Thing that's sad...it's 1%. 2% chocolate milk is about 12478623238714786176174 x10^million times better. It's just so creamy and good D: SO if you see 2% chocolate milk...get it! (I know they have it at Safeway) haha.

I know my blog's are fairly random with not a lot of point to them.... but oh well...ANOTHER THING! I'm going to see Alice in Wonderland tonight, kind of excited...although it looks kinda creepy, but I shall tell you how that goes. :)!

Well...toodles for meow :D

RANDOM FACT ABOUT ME--I like Threadless shirts and am currently wearing a green one with giraffe's on it :D
