Today has been a niiiice relaxing Sunday. Got a bit of a sleep in this morning, meaning about 8/8:30...but felt great to me :D
Got a few things done around the house and considering making banana bread...but just didn't feel like it today. I'll probably end up doing it during the week. Loves my banana bread breaky :D
Then I also did my yogurt face mask and now my face is all shiny, soft and clean :D And George is all fluffy, soft and adorable :D (Yes, he had his weekly shower as per ush).
Just as he was about dry, I had a visit from my parentals.
And looookkkkky what they brought me....
I have a tree! Little, with no ornaments....but a tree! And it changes colors ;)
And what is it under the tree?
"Mmm~! I love Turtles" ;)
As for Georgey...he had a little crazy spell but other than that, it's pretty nap filled.
The life of a George is pretty difficult...
Christmas Blogging!
We're already here at the 9th...almost halfway to Christmas!
So, who's the easiest person to buy for??
Well, obviously...it's easiest to buy for someone you spend a lot of time with, or know extremely well. If you see them/talk to them often, you know what they need they use the most, what they've been wanting or what they might enjoy and wouldn't get for themselves. I've always been able to get little gifts for my parents fairly easily. Scott is good as well.
(I used to be able to get for W and Lambie pretty well).
Who's the easiest person you have to buy for??
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday, and until tomorrow...
Buh bye for meow :)!
PS...although I haven't been talking about it, I've still been enjoying my advent calender...don't worry ;)
Oh, I guess I didn't talk about Strathmore... guess you have something to look forward to tomorrow!
Sometimes I just feel like rambling. Oddly enough, I'm more likely to share things here than to write a journal. So here we gooo....

December 1st
Good bye November. Hello, 24 days til Christmas! Crazy...
I mentioned December 1st in my last post... and asked, what it meant?
Well both Leinani and my sister, Lambie guessed it! (Go team L!)
(I would send you one as a prize...but alas, Leinani already has one and Lambie probably wouldn't even get it before Christmas!)
Advent Calender! My traditional Kinder of course ;). {2010} {2011} (Scott also has his out on the rig).
(PS, there are a BUNCH of different advent calenders now...don't have to get boring old chocolate) ;)
So I got to open number 1 today! (It was a little kinder bar - George looked at me with hunger in his eyes...).
It's nothing big, and they're not for everyone....and you're all insane. They're delicious.
So, Happy Saturday to you! I generally don't blog on a Saturday...but figured I could get a post up quick.
Today George got his shower...and although he still doesn't like it, I think he's getting used to it.
Here, he's mid drying in front of the "fireplace"...although it's not real, it dries him off much quicker.
(You have to sit with him, or he'll run away...shivering - silly cat).
Today I did my yogurt mask (for face and hair) again, and I learned something. If you have yogurt on your face, George will try and eat it (moreso than normal...).
And that's my Saturday ADVENTure (you get that one?? :D ) for you.
Got one for me??
Ciao for meow :)!

Happy Monday!(?)
Maybe?? Oh I don't know. I'd say today seems pretty alright for a Monday.
So what did I get up to this past weekend? Not a whole lot really.
I got things done, but I didn't really go out and do anything particularly exciting.
Friday night after I got home, Scott and I cleaned the whole (though it's not very big) house (meaning basement suite), hung out around the house, and made delicious nachos :D
Nummers. ;3
Saturday I slept in a little bit (til about 7:30/8...which is much more pleasant than 5). I got my workout in and then walked to the bank to deposit a cheque and then to the grocery store to pick up a couple things. After that it was muffin time! I found a recipe for strawberry muffins, and then I also made a batch of peanut butter/banana/choc chip muffins. They're all scrumptious with just one problem...we have so many of them!
I like the mini muffins better...so we were left with about...7 dozen mini muffins...84! *.*
Want some?? They are fairly tasty!
Then it was a bunch of loads of laundry (including bedding, futon cover, fuzzy blankets and such), so now everything is clean!
After doing my own yogurt mask(which actually works at least a little bit - on me anyways), it was time to clean the George beast. He was NOT liking it this time. I got attacked with claws....but I'm still going to do it again!
Despite the look in his eyes, he did love me again after this. And he's so soft and fuzzy and smells like coconut :D
Then he had to sleep for a long time to recover. Cutie.
Then when Scott got home, we just hung out at home again. And we actually got a few Thank You cards done :D We still have quite a few to go though...
Sunday was a much needed day of relaxation. AND I went to church which was really good, despite me being a loner. ;)
When Scott eventually came home, we went to feed the ducks :D They've drained the little pond now that it's starting to cool down and it stinks! Yet those ducks are sticking around in what little water is left. And we also made a reasonably delicious dinner...though I didn't take any pictures - sorry!
I even let George have a little taste of chicken...he likes it - a lot.
Anyways - THAT'S IT!
As I said, not too exciting but got some things done and now have oodles of muffins.
What did you go up to?
NANI - Did you go to the corn maze??
Toodles for meow :)!

I TRIED IT!
OK, so first off...this is obscene how many bloggies I've got up for December already. It's more than I've got up in pretty much the last...3 months combined. Wow.
ANYWAYS -- I TRIED THE YOGURT LAST NIGHT! (If you don't know what I'm talking about... look at my last blog)
I went to the gym (which was fun if you're wondering haha), and then afterwards I went to the grocery store and thought to myself..."Hey, I'm gonna look for some yogurt!" And it was quite easy to find really haha. There was a few options - but the one I ended up choosing was Olympic brand, no fat (0%), Organic, Natural, Probiotic (plain obviously) haha.
So what I did was I showered first and washed my face and shampoo'd my hair quick. Then I got out and turned off the fan (to keep the steam in there) and put the mixture of olive oil and yogurt on my hair. One suggestion is to towel off your hair decently well so it isn't dripping - I did it alright, but it did end up dripping a bit (in the back). So I'm not sure if you want to do this yourselves or if you have someone that can help you it might be easier. So I started in my roots and put it all over my scalp and then started running it through the ends.
*TIP* Don't put so much that it drips - just enough to coat your hair.
I then put it up in a bun to keep it back and to keep it from dripping as much.
THEN... it was face time
*TIP* Don't use the leftover from the hair mixture - I don't imagine Olive oil being the best for your face?
So I started with one layer and gradually built it up to basically as thick as I could get it. (You'll realize when you try it...if you try it).
Then I put a robe on and just meandered about for half an hour or so. The yogurt on your face does dry after a bit, thus making your face feel kind of tight and constricted from emotion showing. But it's bearable.
The nice thing about doing them both at the same time was...when you do the face mask, you don't have to worry about getting the yogurt in the hair.
The bad thing about all of this - it's kind of a pain putting it in your hair...because you're trying not to get yogurt everywhere and also trying to move your hair around to coat the scalp completely. (and also I think plain yogurt just smells plain awful :P)
SO after half an hour, I just got back in the shower....rinsed it all off. I didn't wash my face again, but I did shampoo and condition my hair after.
I then moisturized my face as usual. My pores felt so clean and refreshed. Seriously. Haha. And I felt like my face was glowing and looked so squeaky clean. And my skin felt - plump? So to speak. haha. Sounds weird - but I liked it! If you don't want to try the hair mask - I would at least recommend it for the face.
When I was shampooing and conditioning my hair - the pores on my scalp also felt very refreshed and open. Really - it felt so nice.
I'm sure results vary from person to person and also depending on which yogurt you use. But I have tried it and I found that my hair is so smooth and even very shiny today. I would definitely recommend that you try it (if you're willing)! So try it! And let me know what you think!
Ciao for meow :)!
RANDOM FACT ABOUT ME -- The only yogurt I really eat is Strawberry. Raspberry is alright...Peach - maybe. All the others don't appeal to me. I used to put plain yogurt in smoothies until I licked the spoon after once. I started gagging - it was awful. The end.
