Pictures, as promised.

So usually, I'll put up a picture or two with a post...but lately, I've been forgetting! So here are the pictures that have been storing up on my phone - waiting to be seen!

George is getting so big! But he's still cute :)

As much as I don't really enjoy snow...look how fluffy the first fall was!

I got new boots! In my defense...they were on sale and I kind of needed some. Kind of. :P

What the what?! When did they start using Rolo as Halloween goodies??
(This reminds me of another post I've wanted to do but haven't gotten around to...
maybe I'll wait for next year haha)

So that's my picture stories as of late. 
One thing I've also gotten, was some Christmas soap! :D The day I got the boots, I also went into Bath and Body Works and of course things were on sale and smelling delicious. So I got 5 soaps for $20...only 2 of which were Christmas because we can only use 2 hand soaps at a time (bathroom and kitchen) and I want them to be gone by the time Christmas is. But I was excited anyways ;)

So I can hardly believe it, but the weekend is finally here! Do you have plans? 
I sure do! Sit around at home and do absolutely nothing :D That's pretty close to what I'm going to do...but I guess I'm also going to clean the house, pick up a few groceries...and maybe paint my toesies :D Maybe.

Happy Monday!(?)

Maybe?? Oh I don't know. I'd say today seems pretty alright for a Monday.

So what did I get up to this past weekend? Not a whole lot really.
I got things done, but I didn't really go out and do anything particularly exciting.

Friday night after I got home, Scott and I cleaned the whole (though it's not very big) house (meaning basement suite), hung out around the house, and made delicious nachos :D

Saturday I slept in a little bit (til about 7:30/8...which is much more pleasant than 5). I got my workout in and then walked to the bank to deposit a cheque and then to the grocery store to pick up a couple things. After that it was muffin time! I found a recipe for strawberry muffins, and then I also made a batch of peanut butter/banana/choc chip muffins. They're all scrumptious with just one problem...we have so many of them!
I like the mini muffins better...so we were left with about...7 dozen mini muffins...84! *.*

Want some?? They are fairly tasty!

Then it was a bunch of loads of laundry (including bedding, futon cover, fuzzy blankets and such), so now everything is clean!

After doing my own yogurt mask(which actually works at least a little bit - on me anyways), it was time to clean the George beast. He was NOT liking it this time. I got attacked with claws....but I'm still going to do it again!

Despite the look in his eyes, he did love me again after this. And he's so soft and fuzzy and smells like coconut :D

Then he had to sleep for a long time to recover. Cutie.

Then when Scott got home, we just hung out at home again. And we actually got a few Thank You cards done :D We still have quite a few to go though...


Sunday was a much needed day of relaxation. AND I went to church which was really good, despite me being a loner. ;)

When Scott eventually came home, we went to feed the ducks :D They've drained the little pond now that it's starting to cool down and it stinks! Yet those ducks are sticking around in what little water is left. And we also made a reasonably delicious dinner...though I didn't take any pictures - sorry!
I even let George have a little taste of chicken...he likes it - a lot.

Anyways - THAT'S IT!
As I said, not too exciting but got some things done and now have oodles of muffins.

You know what I think?

I think...I like Friday's - a lot...along with this song. You know why? 'Cause it's like that, and that's the way it is........HUH' ;)

Watermelon is pretty good as well...so sweet, so juicy, so delicious.

Sooooo what could I talk about...OH! Francesca is back from school in BC and have I mentioned she's engaged? I don't know... well, she's engaged! And I don't know if I've introduced her fiance as a character in my story yet, but he's been around for a while and he's awesome. Definitely worthy of all of our companionship ;) For lack of creativity (and hopefully he doesn't mind), I shall just refer to him as Benifred. 

SO, the past couple Wednesday's, Scott and I have gotten ourselves back into cheap swimming for the last hour (except now it's $3 as opposed to $2 *tear*). And I have missed it! This past Wednesday, Francesca, Benifred, Scott and myself all went and it was a lot of fun. Nice to have you back Francesca ;)

One thing I noticed while swimming, Francesca kept on her engagement ring whereas I, took it off. What do you do? Do you keep it on all the time? Sleep and everything? Or are there certain things you take it off for? I'm just curious!

I'll keep mine on for showering and washing dishes...I take it off for swimming because I'm afraid it'll slide right off and sink to the deepest depths of no return. I don't work out nor sleep in mine because I get all hot and bothered with puffy fingers.

And you??

Any jewelry you keep on all the time? 

I keep my white gold chain (that I got from W a couple years back) on ALL the time. I also never take my toe ring off. 

Moving on.

So yesterday I went to get groceries (because Francesca and Benifred are joining Scott and I for dinner tonight), and since I was at the mall...I HAD to make a quick stop at Petland.

Sweet weekend! I know I only had to work 3 days this week...but I'm definitely ready for the weekend! Not too much to share from my evening and week. It was a good week, but pretty laid back (which was good). It's been snowing on and off lately, which isn't all that pleasing unto me...but I guess I don't really have a choice in the matter (sadly).

5 Things Friday

1. W is coming to visit me today! I haven't seen her since... (looks back at blog quick) ok, I guess it's only been about a month. But that's kind of a long time! Anyways, I'm excited. Hmm...it was exactly a month since I last saw her....and it was exactly a month previous when I saw her in December :o Insane. Right? Maybe? Yes.

So what am I doing tomorrow? Hanging out with the W ;)

2. Fudgies! A delicious dessert...no bake cookie I guess it would be. Lots of people know them as Haystacks, but for my life...they're fudgies ;) Anyways, I have a niece that apparently made them last night and she posted this picture on facebook.

Mmm... these are so good! And I haven't had them in a long while. I would post a recipe, but it wouldn't be THE recipe. I'll get that from my mother when I talk to her next (later today) and share it with all ya'll. I'll edit this post to add it in :)

3. I'm enjoying that I haven't been in an accident for a while (and I intend to keep it that way...). Please don't kill me luck (or lack of rather...). But the same can't be said for this poor soul. I snapped this picture quick when I was on the way to work.

Good Saturday to you!

So last night, I got to sit on some babies! But basically, I just went out to hang out with some of my nieces/ nephew, eat dinner, party on and go to bed early while they stayed up x)
But in my defense, I did have to work this morning...

Anyways, I took this picture a couple days ago and I thought it looked kind of snazylicious (whatever that means...).

So it's finally Friday, and you know what that means! Well...I don't entirely know what it means. But yay weekend! Sweet sweet weekend and sweet sweet sleeping in on Saturday morning ;D Oh baby!

Alright, so what did you get up to last night? Because you may or may not have (ok, probably not... who am I kidding ;3) noticed that I didn't get up in hur! {Sorry...}. So! Fine fellow and I are heading to a little dinner party tonight with his cousin and cousin's wife and we're bringing the dessert! So you know what we did last night? We went on a grand adventure! It all started with a little driving...there was a cactus and tumbleweed - ok, I'm kidding. We made a dessert ;) And it SEEMS like it'll be delicious but I cannot guarantee such a thing as I have yet to try it. I shall let you know how it is.

Julian Perretta. Have you heard of him? If not...check it out (and your welcome). First off, his fro is delightfulsome! Second, the credit for finding him has to go to a blog I read...so thanks Sarah from Wearing It On My Sleeves (you should probably check her out, she's a fashion blogger and she's quite funny/fun to read).

Soooo yes

It's the weekend! Fine fellow is back and we're getting gussied up and heading OUT (to a YSA activity...because we're cool like that).

5 Things Friday
Best things about the weekend edition!

1. You generally get to sleep in (not if you work or go to church really...) and sleeping is awesome. No alarms = the good life.

2. There's generally a reason to get all purdied up. During the week I usually have absolutely no motivation nor reason.

3. Being able to relax a little bit...Not worry so much about schedules and business and such (unless you work...wow, working really ruins your life...).

4. Doing something fun! Weekends are usually a time to do something exciting that you don't normally do! (or in our case, head to a YSA activity ;) ).

5. Potentially see people you don't really get to see during the week, or even splurge a little more on what you eat ;)

(the fine fellow also mentioned that traffic isn't so terrible during rush hour on the weekend...especially in the morning! When I head to work Saturday morning, it's smooth sailing) :3

Anyways, off I fly...enjoy your weekend!
