Kitty kitty

Alrighty...so I mentioned about making something a post of it's own - here it is!
When I went down to Lethbridge, my mom told me there was a random cat on the deck. So I ran up and sure enough... a cute, cuddly cat! :3
This cat did have a collar, and it seemed so needy and just wanted continuous attention. So either this cat is usually ignored, or very spoiled and wants attention all the time!

Loved the tummy rubs and scratches...

No kitty, you can't come in! (But as soon as the mother leaves, I'll give you some milk ;3)

Kitty meowed at the door for a bit until he saw me in the kitchen window...

And then kitty wanted in! He demands attention!

I played with kitty for a while...but eventually I went in and after a couple of hours, he must've found his way home. I wondered if he might return (because I actually did give him milk!), but my mumsie has said she hasn't seen him since.
Oh well.

Fish are creepy...

Really. Do you ever go to Petland (I go a lot...) and check out the few random puppies, occasional kittens, and strange ferret? Maybe go torture the little gerbils(?) a little bit? And then you meander over to the fish. 

Fishies creep me out. They're squirming around with their bulging eyes and sometimes have strange things protruding off of them. 

I even tried moving my finger around with the fish and having them follow(which is amusing I must say...) but that amusement only lasts so long as their protruding eyes peer into your soul. 

Why would people have fish as a "pet"? You can't even pet them! Sure they're low maintenance, but they aren't cute - at all.

Isn't the point of a pet to have something cute and fluffy? Keep you company as they curl up?

Fish DO NOT do that. They make me want to curl up alone and never look at them again.

The little pixelated fish at the top won't do any soul peering. And sure a little animated Nemo is alright...but other than that, no fish for me.

No fish for me.

Sooooo what could I talk about...OH! Francesca is back from school in BC and have I mentioned she's engaged? I don't know... well, she's engaged! And I don't know if I've introduced her fiance as a character in my story yet, but he's been around for a while and he's awesome. Definitely worthy of all of our companionship ;) For lack of creativity (and hopefully he doesn't mind), I shall just refer to him as Benifred. 

SO, the past couple Wednesday's, Scott and I have gotten ourselves back into cheap swimming for the last hour (except now it's $3 as opposed to $2 *tear*). And I have missed it! This past Wednesday, Francesca, Benifred, Scott and myself all went and it was a lot of fun. Nice to have you back Francesca ;)

One thing I noticed while swimming, Francesca kept on her engagement ring whereas I, took it off. What do you do? Do you keep it on all the time? Sleep and everything? Or are there certain things you take it off for? I'm just curious!

I'll keep mine on for showering and washing dishes...I take it off for swimming because I'm afraid it'll slide right off and sink to the deepest depths of no return. I don't work out nor sleep in mine because I get all hot and bothered with puffy fingers.

And you??

Any jewelry you keep on all the time? 

I keep my white gold chain (that I got from W a couple years back) on ALL the time. I also never take my toe ring off. 

Moving on.

So yesterday I went to get groceries (because Francesca and Benifred are joining Scott and I for dinner tonight), and since I was at the mall...I HAD to make a quick stop at Petland.

One of the most hideous creatures I've ever seen.

(But it's also a bunny...an extremely hairy and demon filled bunny...)

This rabbit, will forever haunt my dreams...

Sooooooo yes...looky what I got!!!

 Ok, ok...I didn't. But it is cute eh? Want to take a guess at the type of puppy it is?

SO! How was your Easter weekend?? Spendid? Splendid! 

It's always rather tragic when you have to go back to work, y'know what I'm saying?

But I did get Monday off as well! Scott was working so I got a few things done (not that I usually don't...)

Anyways, so lately my on/off/sleep button at the top of my iPhone was NOT working. So I took it in and got a new one :D it's really not THAT exciting as my phone was in new condition anyways. In fact it was kind of a pain as I had to worry about getting a new screen protector D:

BUT NEVER FEAR! It was annoying...but I got it taken care of. All is well. 

So lately it's been starting to look like spring here! I painted my toes a pinky/orangey color and was going to take a picture to put on here...but then my camera was facing me, and so there's a picture of me face instead!

Isn't it (not so) cute?!?!?! :D

 And then I forgot to take a picture of my toes -.- Oh well...

So yesterday on the way home, there was a vehicle with the license plate "XTRSPCL".

And yes buddy, if you weren't extra special before...You sure are now!

And that's really all I had to rant about today. I think. Yes.

Well...I don't know about you, but I found this interesting-ish (ok...I found it really really cute!).

Hopefully you're a little more fired up today than me and this guy...

Fudgies and baby otters

I hate Monday's... but I love fudgies (which I made last night)!

So I don't feel like editing the post from Friday... so instead I'll share THE fudgie recipe here...

FUDGIES
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup milk
2 generous tbsp of cocoa
(I also added a bit of vanilla)

(It helps to get the lumps out of the cocoa prior to this step, you should also lay some wax paper out)
Melt butter and add sugar and cocoa. Then add milk (and vanilla if you wish) and keep stirring. Bring to a boil and immediately add to 3 cups of rolled oats and 1 cup coconut.

Once it's all mixed together, quickly scoop into little mounds (or large...whatever size is most pleasing unto you). Work quickly because it starts to set fast! (And make sure you eat some while it's warm because that, my friends, is when it's most delicious ;)
