Long Weekends are nice...

Don't you agree??

This past weekend has been decently filled with things...but not TOO busy.

Saturday and Sunday was General Conference of course, which is a bi-annual conference that happens in my church where we get to hear from the leaders of the church. You can read the recaps here if you wish.
The sessions I caught were good. ;)

Saturday evening, Scott and I were trying to be productive and pick pictures for our wedding album and also start working to get out our Thank You cards, but well...sometimes things just don't go according to plan. It was a frustrating evening.

Sunday, out to Strathmore for the Thanksgiving feast! Thanks so much guys...it was SO DELISH! It was nice to see the family and eat delicious food. My sister even had made these cute little 'turkey's' out of treats.
Use your imagination...it's cute!
George also got lots of attention from the nieces and nephew.
But can you blame them?? He's getting big, but he's still cute! (Though he doesn't always love all that crazy attention...haha).

And then Monday... Benifred and Francesca joined Scott and I on an adventure to the dinosaur town - Drumheller!

If you didn't know, Drumheller is the home of the Royal Tyrell Museum, and is a completely dinosaur themed town as a result. The picture above is of the main grocery store - IGA. Scott was excited to show us all ;)

Here's a few more pictures...
Tree hugging dino :D
Francesca in front of the snazy bubbles.
The badlands of Drumheller.
The giant T-rex in the town.
It was a good time!

After that, it was drive back home and find some food! We eventually decided upon a nice Thanksgiving (late) lunch at Boogies Burgers and it was delish! Then it was hanging out for a bit at our place before they had to head to their second family Thanksgiving dinner (their first was on Sunday as well).
Thanks for the fun time Benifred and Francesca...we'll have to do it again sometime soon ;)

This morning Scott and I were up early because it was back to work for Scott (and I worked out as he got ready). It was nice to be able to spend the long weekend with him...but I miss him already!

How was your long weekend? What did you get up to?

Tumblr? Thanksgiving and the likes.

Tumblr or other blogging sites - are they better? Is blogger alright? What do you think? I looked at a few others...I just don't really know how comparable they are because I haven't used them.

Anyways...it's Friday! And then, Thanksgiving weekend! YAYYYYYY! Mmm... turkey~!
This Thanksgiving, I'm thankful for all the same things as last year and more!

This year, there's a few more things I could add to the list...

1. Being married and spending most of my time with a sweet little Scottling. He makes things more enjoyable, even when I'm being difficult and YES even when you're being annoying ;D. Love you.

2. Having an adorable kitten!
(taken this morning)
Enough said. He's a pest most of the time...but he's cute and fun and my little cuddle bug! :)

3. That Scott is going to be around this Thanksgiving :) (we didn't expect him to be...so it's a pleasant surprise).

4. That we've been having an extended warm weather season. There was a Chinook last night, and the sun is out today! Seems like it's going to be a pleasant weekend (until we get hit with snow again -.-).

5. Vitamix! :D I don't think I've mentioned it, but a month or so ago...Scott and I got a Vitamix with some gift cards we had gotten for our wedding. It may seem silly...but I make a smoothie everyday and the Vitamix just makes it so quick and easy :)

(That was kind of like another 5 Things Friday Thanksgiving Edition) ;)

Anyways, thanks for reading!

What're you up to this weekend? Do you get Turkey? ;)

Take that blog!

WOW! World of Warcraft. What do I have to say about it? Nothing...I don't even really know what it is... :l
Let's start over.

Wow! Ok, hello. It's been a little bit. I've been busy! And my last blog experience was basically wretched because it kept changing size and crap :< I'm the master of the blog! ME!

(hehe...awesome! It's a cat on a throne if you didn't get it...)

*cough* Anyways...so I've started about...6(?)ish blogs since the last one. I get bored and give up really easily! HELP ME DD: What happened to all those good people (Leinani) who would comment all the time and ask questions for me to answer?!? But yes, I've been busy. But I'll try to stick to this blog and post it, though you never know. There's still time for me to give up (though I feel that cat needs to be seen). So if nothing else, you should at least be seeing an awesome cat here.

So Thanksgiving weekend is almost here! Are you ready for your feast? Mmm....feast....*drool*
I love Thanksgiving dinner. A lot. So I am most definitely excited :D Any other big plans for the long weekend people??
Thanksgiving gets me thinking...what am I thankful for? TURN OF EVENTS! OH! I was going to do a different 5 Things Friday...but I just realized that I CLEARLY have to do a "Thanksgiving" Edition. Sooooo here we go.

5 Things Friday
Thanksgiving Edition
I am thankful foooorrrrrrr....
1. FOOD! Seriously. Food is awesome (and also necessary for survival). Think of all those delicious things out there. I would eat all the time if it wouldn't make me morbidly obese :< Though I eat as much as I can ;)

2. Family. Some of my best memories are with my family. I think my family is pretty fantastic and I know they would do basically anything for me. (And I would do the same for them). I love you!

3. Friends. The rest of my best memories are with friends. Family creates almost an insta-bond, but some friendships require a bit more work. (Some just kind of happen pretty easily, which is nice...but anyways...). When you think about it, {GOOD} friendships are kind of difficult to find. Although you're generally pretty trusting of your family, how do you know if you can trust a friend? Where does the bond build from? And that's enough of a rant on friends. Friends I love you. Thanks for standing by me.

4. F...{dang it, no more} Health. I'm so so thankful I haven't really had health issues in my life (knock on wood). I have a body that I can push and enjoy working out in. I don't really have many things holding me back. I don't get sick all that often and I truly am thankful for that. Go body!

5. Freedom. (HA! I thought of another one!) Canada (although it has pretty crappy weather... especially in Alberta) is a pretty fantastic country. We're pretty free to do as we please and it really is a very beautiful and spacious place. Canada I love you. And life - you are delightful.

Now I know this is a pretty lame list that I'm sure most people can relate to...but we all have our own stories and reasons behind why. I hope you all have a fantastic Thanksgiving weekend, and don't forget to make your "Thanksgiving Edition" lists. ;) What're you thankful for?

Ciao for meow :)!

RANDOM FACT ABOUT ME -- I love turkey! And stuffing! And mashed potatoes! And gravy! And going into a food coma... Such a delicious food coma...

(I'm not sure what's with the cat theme...just kind of happened)

(Awe~! I hope it's ok... D: )

And since I'm on the cat theme still...you should check out this video! It's rather amusing :D

And on a final note, here's a picture of me as you haven't seen one in a while.

Anonymity is key ;)

I say good day.
