ABC about me!

Some ABC's about me and what's been happening lately.

A - A nice day on the beach. And luckily for me, in August I'll get some of those :D

B - Biking and bum workouts. Yesterday I went for a little bike ride, and a long walk and did a little bum workout. Gotta love the bum burn ;) (Unless it's a rug burn on your bum... I would imagine that to be unpleasant).

C - Cookies. I have a niece that has been obsessed with cookies lately and talks about them quite frequently. So cookies were bound to come up. C is for cookies.

D - Driving with the window down and the tunes playing... it's just kind of a peaceful relaxing time (mainly when it's not in city traffic...).

E - Exercise! Love it. I'm grateful when I'm well enough and have the time to do so :)

F - Family and friends. I've always appreciated them...but they've also been especially helpful in regards to my wedding. Thanks everyone! Love you!

G - Groceries. A full fridge and lots of options. I like that.

H - Having someone there for me almost all the time. Scott...I love you and appreciate all you do for me.

I - I think this is a joke. You obviously know it's ice cream -.- duh. (Home made FTW!)

J - Jumping and leaping! Lately I've been going on lots of walks (and also watching sytycd)...and for some reason I've been enjoying jumping around and being a weirdo. Normal, right?

K - Knives. Good knives are wonderful things! Not so wonderful? Not using them safely and slicing your finger... :( (you can use your imagination for what I was doing).

L - Laughing :D Oh how laughing can change/brighten up a day.

M - Market mall Petland. Oh how I love going to see and hold the pups and kittens :3

N - Not having to set an alarm clock. Those glorious days when you can sleep 'til your hearts content!

O -Opening mail...and packages! It's just kind of exciting :)

P - Personal pizza, home made pizza! That's what we had last night - delish :3

Q -  Quiet time to myself. I don't like it all the time...but sometimes, it's really really nice! Need to recharge my Trudyness.

R - Rain no more! RAIN GO AWAY! WE'VE HAD ENOUGH! Kthanks.

S - Summer & sunshine :D If only some sunshine would stick around here...we've had a few decently warm days, but not much sun :(

T - TV...namely SYTYCD  (as S was already taken) ;)

U - Upper floor heat. As in the upper floor of a house being unbearably warm and uncomfortable. (Like out in Strathmore {they have no A/C}...it gets so hot by the end of the day! Thank goodness I get to sleep in the basement...)

V - Vehicles...new vehicles. (Scott gets to pick up his new truck today - GMC Sierra 1500). Makes me get the itch for a new vehicle, not enough to actually scratch the itch though...just make it mildly uncomfortable (if that makes sense at all...).

W - WAX! As in waxing my legs. Let me tell you something... I hadn't shaved my legs in a long time, over a month - possibly 2! Anyways, disgusting or not, my leg hairs were at maximum capacity! And it didn't really matter because no one really saw them and I didn't care! But yesterday, I looked down at my legs and thought to myself...Wow, that's gross - I can't take it anymore. But I couldn't just shave it away, I had to wax it! So a niece and I biked to Wal Mart, some supplies were acquired, and then it was back home to get down to business! Anyways, be disgusted if you wish...I was too.
PS, this was NOT just one pull...more like half a calf
And then the irritation of the waxing began to set in! (As you can see by the little red bumpies).
But the result was smooth, much less hairy legs ;)

X - X-citement (what, was I supposed to put xylophone?!!) for the wedding, our upcoming vacation, time off work, and a new life to spend with Scott :)

Y - You! To the few people that read, thanks :)

Z - ZZZ! Sleep. I haven't been getting as much as I'd like...but life is busy and things have been good - so it's ok! Soon I'll be able to get some! (Hopefully...).

Byeas for meow :)!

Monday no-fun day

Actually...it's not so bad for a Monday. But it sure felt no-fun crawling out of bed this morning. And no, I did not work out...so take that world! Watch me not fit into my wedding dress...that would sure show me D:

Working out, I've got to work on that again...

How's working out in your life? Or does working out exist in your life?

Here's an amusing comic to make your Monday just a little bit better.

Bye-bye for meow :)!

Gosh dang it

Alright so, as I told you, I've been going to the gym early in the morning at SAIT (I don't know if you knew it was at SAIT...but well now you do). And I have no idea if there's any parking you don't have to pay for there if you're just going to the gym. SO, to make it easier for myself, I've been parking in the SEARS parking lot and walking the 5 minutes to the gym. Anyways, since I've been parking there, I've always noticed this sign.

But I never took this sign seriously because tons of people park here and walk over to SAIT! But the thing is, I used to go only in the evening when there's tons of vehicles there, so how are they even going to enforce that?
NOW, when I get there at 6 AM, I'm the only vehicle there...so it's pretty obvious. So today I come out from my workout (at 7:30 AM) to find something on my windshield. I could see it from a bit away so I was thinking...NooOooooOOOO! But thank goodness it was just a warning. Basically it just reiterated the fact that I was neither shopping at SEARS (which doesn't open until 9:30), nor was I an employee.

"You always park at SE corner before 7:00 AM everyday {nice grammar there, hey?}. Your truck will be ticketed/towed next time parked here while attending SAIT etc. THX {yes they really put thx...}"

Great... I know I'm in the wrong here. I know it's private property. But my poor little truck isn't hurting anyone for 1.5 hours when the store isn't even open! It's just unfortunate, and I'm unsure of what to do now :(

Boo for meow :(!

I just can't do it...

So HEY!
Ya...it's been awhile but I got caught up in life and keeping Lambie amused ;) She has now left...so safe journeys and I shall miss you!

So it's been back to reality here lately. Got back from Lethbridge Wednesday night, so it was back to work (and lots of catch up to do) on Thursday. Then Lambie flew out on Friday and now I'm left all to my lonesome! Wait...didn't I have friends at one point?? Shoot.
Maybe I should get back on that.
One thing I do miss, however, is my fine fellow! He's been gone for a couple weeks now and probably has another week left to go. :( But the good news is...he should be back for quite a while this time :D

I've gotten back on the working out in the morning train. You didn't know that was a train? Well, it is...it's just kind of an unpleasant one which I probably wouldn't recommend at this point. ;) But things can change?
There are a couple nice things about it though...1. It gives you kind of a boost of energy for the day (or sucks you dry...) and 2. It gives you time in the evening after work to do as you please (you know, hang out with all the friends...that are....somewhere around here...).
Major con of it all -- Less sleep. You know how much I love sleep and this schedule shaves about an hour and a half off of the already precious sleeping time. But maybe it's worth it??
But in all actuality, it's going alright so far ;)

So, when I was younger I used to like bananas (when I was 4/5ish). But I found out my sister (whom I looked up to) didn't like them so I decided I didn't either, and stopped eating them. The past few years, I've tried eating bananas again because well, they're great for you and they're cheap! But I just can't do it! I tried again, just this morning...it always goes the same way.

I took a bite and thought 'Alright, I can do this...it's not so bad'
But as I go further it becomes 'I don't know about this...I'm not even quite halfway'
Halfway...'Just do it! You can do this! Power through!'
Just past half way is when the gagging starts (and yes...I seriously gag)
3/4...'I'm done...I'm never doing this again'
I try! Really I do! I just can't do it... :(
I can eat banana bread and have bananas in smoothies and such. But their texture is just so squishy and foul. So no bananas for me, thanks.

Stop looking at me banana!
(This should trigger a memory...Stop looking at me _____!)
(Adam Sandler movie...come on...you can do it!)

And that's all for now. What's up world? Any stories or tidbits or excitement??

Toodles for meow :)!

MUSIC MOMENT DOWN HERE...

Alright, So lately I've really been liking THIS song. It's called Somebody That I Used To Know by Gotye. He has such a soothing voice and it's so catchy... Really, I could listen to it again and again (and I totally do...). BUT! Lately this cover has been floating around. It's pretty awesome as well! Jeez....who'd have thought so many people could play a guitar...

I find even just this video so amusing.
The guy on the left doing the percussion...he's so in his own world, he doesn't sing or look at the camera.
The chick, has such a sweet and pretty voice.
The guy in the middle tries to close his eyes to keep himself from looking at the camera. But he does keep looking and you catch him trying to suppress a grin a couple of times. And when he gets to the high part of the chorus, he lifts his eye brows :)
The main singer, well...he's just good. Has a nice rough sounding voice.
And the guy on the end is so essential! You flick those little strings man!
I love it :)!
(Ya, I'm weird...what of it?)
