Update

Well... Scott's been gone for about a week and a half and I miss him. A lot. But he'll be getting back in a few days...so I guess that's good.

I'm still sick so I wasn't able to go to soccer on Tuesday :( Boo.

I hope all this sickness goes away before the wedding.

I still need to figure out a few things before the wedding....shoes for myself and bridal party, hair for myself and bridal party, clothing for parts of the day, but things are finally starting to come together.

It was really nice to see W and Nani this past weekend. I've missed you guys. (And it's always nice to see Francesca as well...PS, thanks for agreeing to be part of the wedding party) :3

Happy Belated Father's Day! I considered posting on Sunday...but no. I was with family, and that takes priority yo.

PS. My dad is awesome...but I'm sure everyone thinks that ;) (about their own dad's...)

Busy little bird

Still busy with wedding business. But invitations are done! :D :D :D HOORAY! At least people will be there even if things don't work and are terrible. Yes...that sounds awesome. 

Just kidding, it will be fine. It will be... ._.

So Scott is now gone off to work :( 2 weeks. Which makes Trudy a dull girl. But really, I'm ok. But I do miss him.

So yesterday was soccer! And it was a really warm (and surprisingly humid) day. And it's nice and sunny again today! (though it is supposed to rain for the rest of the week) :( Back to soccer.... well we tied. 5-5. We were about to win with the 5-4 but in the last 2 minutes...of course they scored. But, to be honest, it was a beautiful shot. The ground was SUPER hard though. I could feel the impact through my shins (and soul). 

Annnnnndddddd ya. That's about it actually. It's too hot in my apartment though...how's a Trudy to sleep with a hot room and hot covers and birds chirping before 5 am?! Stupid birds...

Ok, ok....

I'm here. I've just been busy! Why don't people elope? More importantly, why aren't Scott and I eloping???

Just kidding (kind of...)

Anywho. So weekend. We registered at Bed Bath and Beyond (on an empty stomach...which was even MORE torturous) but it's done, so YAY~! And then we went to The Keg - double yay :D!

We've been trying to get the invitation designed (I'm going to drive Scott crazy, I'm sure...) and we got our second set of engagement photos done. So, whether it seems like it or not, things are slowly getting done.

Yesterday we had some delightful sun and also a soccer game! And we won! YAY! The only not so swell thing...there were no girl subs! So the three girls that were there (including myself and Francesca) had to play the whooolllleee time. But it was fun :)

Still trying to get things done. But it's coming along.

Sunrise

Did I see the sunrise today? No... though it is pretty cloudy, so I'm not sure anyone around here did.

But I did randomly get this song stuck in my head today.

I can almost envision a sunrise...almost.

So it's been pretty rainy/miserable here this past week...but I know (hope...really really hope) that the sun will be back soon enough.

Sunglasses and all...

Anyways...

So I've been gone for a few daysies. Because I hadn't been getting any love from all y'all ;'(

Just kidding.

This weekend Scott and I got a few weddingish things done... YAY!

UPDATE --

- we went to the place where we'll be having our reception... it should be really nice

(hopefully the weather cooperates...)

- we registered at one place (The Bay)

(Dear gosh! Have you registered before? What did you think of it??

It's so annoying D: ...things are so expensive, and it's hard to decorate a future house that you haven't seen yet...)

- we still need to do our invitations

- we actually have another engagement photos session this Saturday 

(hopefully it's not all rainy...)

- still no luck on house business

One other thing I wanted to mention...Do you remember last year I was playing Soccer??

Well I'm playing soccer again :D

Yesterday was our first game...so it was a little slippery, and we definitely lost...but it was fun!

I'm looking forward to the next game :)

Here I am (as promised) annnnnnndddd here I go - byyyyeee! :D (kidding -.-)

So, soccer - I realized I didn't have my jersey with me! So I had to head home quick and barely got to the game in time (but then the ref was like 15 minutes late anyways - jeesh), but no matter...made it! Well, the other team was a bit better than us (not all of them, but a few players in particular) and we ended up losing 2-1. But I though it was a pretty good game overall. I'm pretty sure the other team thought we played dirty and they complained to us and the ref the wwhhhoooollllleee game (gah!). This game was kind of difficult for me as I don't have cleats and it has been raining the past few days. So there was a bit of sliding BUT I didn't fall as I was trying to take it easy.

As I said, it's been raining the past few days... And really, I don't mind rain - the moisture in the air, the fresh smell and such; but I'm most definitely ready for the sun to come back!

Rewind to yesterday! SO I said I would introduce a "new character" in my story (so to speak) - and I was choosing between Flying Dutch Man (FDM) {which makes absolutely no sense} and Big Bear {which makes a little more sense}. *sigh* OK ok.... Lets go with Big Bear (cue rundown) ...I'll start with height; he is tall! (6'3 or 6'4 I believe). Super nice guy and very easy to get along with. Always friendly and welcoming and gives probably some of the best hugs. He's presently in school and he's quite humerous and fun to be around ^^

And with that...I'm calling it a day haha.

RANDOM FACT ABOUT ME -- I may or may not have mentioned (pretty sure I have) that I love food. I don't like being hungry, so when I feel it - I eat! Last night I felt a weird pain in my stomach and unfortunately didn't get a very good sleep. I woke up this morning and the pain is still there and either it's not as severe or I've gotten a bit used to it. Anyways, I haven't had an appetite or the desire to eat at all today, but I hope it comes back soon D:

Aiight! Well, I should just throw down something every now and then so here goes!
T'was a good weekend! I believe Lambie comes home this weekend soooo, looking forward to that! (Besides the fact the now I'll have to move - but bring it on adventure!)

Francesca spent the whoooollllle weekend with me (long weekend - yay!). Friday night I went on a double date with Francesca, Strongbad, and another dude which I do not have time to do a little rundown on right now (and I haven't "named" him yet haha), so hopefully I'll get on that for tomorrow ;) Which was good! I'll perhaps give a few more details tomorrow as well.

Saturdayyyy went for a run - was sunny and nice! Then had a nice low key, not at all stressful afternoon. White China, BK, Francesca, Strongbad and the snuggler(?) {ya...I should probably change this nickname as it isn't entirely applicable anymore... so I'll refer to him as Maximus from here on out) then went to a park to play grounders (ridiculous[ly awesome] - I know). We then went for a little fire to have s'moooorreeeees and such!

Sunday - church, and yet another fire!

Monday - pretty low key, CREPE PARTY (delicious)! Then fhe and out to BK's to watch Scrubs!

All in all, fun weekend...it went by fast yet seems like it took so long! Jeesh, life eh? Didn't quite get enough sleep, but tis alright! Just about to head to soccer now though - so wish me luck! I PROMISE I'll get another post up tomorrow because this one is a little bit lame...OK FINE - a lot!

RANDOM FACT ABOUT ME -- I haven't been late for soccer yet - so I have to go so I'm not! haha (sorry!)

FINE - something quick....today I was reminiscing with someone about concerts we've been to. The only concert I've been to is KALAN PORTER (don't judge me.) It was within the year of him winning Canadian Idol (whenever that was). Anyways...I was little obsessed for a bit, had a bit of a crush but I'm turned out ok! (right??) So check out this song (used to be one of my fave's) ;)
