Wednesday = Monday (sort of)

For me anyways. (It also equals hump day) ;)

Sooo it was a long weekend and although I didn't have to work, it was not like a vacation by any means!

And it was back to work today. 

How was your Canada Day?

We went out to Strathmore again for a little fire to roast wienies and have delightful s'mores (and Dad's root beer) and it was a fun and delicious time. PLUS it was gorgeous out! 

Though later it did turn into a down pour of a lightning storm. 

The past few days have been mainly overcast...but we've also had a few nice days so that's fantastic!

Other updates...so Scott and I (well mainly myself for now), have moved into the new place. Let me tell you, it is a mess! It's making its way into looking decent, but there's still a long way to go!

Perhaps I'll post pictures when it looks relatively decent ;)

Yesterday, we went to IKEA (yay~!) for a few furniture items (dressers, bed frame, shelves, etc.) and it was quite the trip. But it's done!

And that's all the spastic randomness I have for you today!

Lonely Breakfast Essentials

Did you get your breakfast essentials today?

Most times, lately anyways, I'm not hungry for a few hours after waking up. So I'll take something to have at work. And these are nice and easy!

Don't get me wrong, I also love cereal and would eat it for every meal of the day...but that's not always the easiest and quickest thing to transport. And it's probably good to switch it up every now and then ;).

WARNING: Strawberry flavor is pretty much disgusting. I use chocolate. Good day.

These aren't anything amazing... but they're easy and pretty decent. Just under 300 calories (depending on which % milk you use). So most mornings, I've been getting my "Essentials" ;)

You know how there's days...where everyone seems to be messaging you and you're either busy or just not in the mood? Well today seems to be the opposite. It's like...where the heck is everyone? I'm lonely and want to talk! Though I reckon everything goes two ways, right? ;)

Guess it's my turn to message someone!

So.

You'd think I have some amazing stories to tell you as I've been gone for pretty well a week...but...well, I don't! Scott and I went to see his parents and family (which was a good trip, nice to meet some more of his family -- plus they're all seemingly awesome).
Sunday we headed down to Lethbridge for a few days as one of my sisters are up from Texas (the one I was visiting in this post). So we got to spend a lot of time with my family as well which was fun :) (I also got to run a few errands while down in Lethbridge, which is always nice).

So today, it was back to work...just in time for HUMP DAY! That probably calls for some ice cream ;) (Not that every other day doesn't...)

But ya, there hasn't really been all that much excitement in my life as of lately. Mainly preparing for the wedding and looking forward to winter being gone for good!

These shoes I got for the Halloween I turned 18 (pretty well 3.5 years ago). I was being a rockstar (whatever that means...). I got a bit of wear out of them, not a ton. Anyways, I realized I actually had no desire to wear them ever again and no one in my family wanted them...so to the thrift store they went! I'm sure they'll make some straight up G quite happy.

Anyways, Lethbridge has an iHop! (Calgary doesn't even have an iHop) :(
So naturally, Scott and I had to go! There was a long line up...but it was well worth it. Yum~!

Hump Day!

Here we are again at Hump Day! What else would one call a Wednesday?? (Besides Wednesday...)

The time of the week where you let yourself die out or you power through! Can we do it? Yes we can! (Maybe)

So today I was leaving the bank when I saw this tree waving hello! It's wishing us a happy hump day and is encouraging us all on (that's what it told me to pass on to you, trust me...I know) ;).

So yes, here we are at day 21! Only 4 (!!!) days til Christmas! (That's crazy...) It's so close I can almost smell it...almost taste it! (though I'll be tasting that kinder santa when I get home ;D )

On The 9th day of Christmas a Trudy gave to you 9 pomegranates, 8 hot cocoas, 7 mandarin oranges, 6 snuggly pillows, 5 kinder eggs, 4 awesome nut trays, 3 french toast, 2 candy canes, and a nice, warm, fuzzy, toque :D (someone was disappointed that I wasn't putting the pictures up...so I'll catch those up...)

SOOOO fine fellow is back and it's awesome :D We went to see MI4 last night... and it was quite good! We saw it in IMAX which was nice as it was pretty action packed. (You even get to see TC take a lot of shots to the face! :D Though it seemingly never appears wounded...). Anyways, if you were considering seeing it, do it! It's good :) I'll give it....****/5!

Anyways...today is hump day! Meaning the middle of the week you weirdos... We can make it! Almost there! (I'm pumping myself up more than you, don't worry).

RANDOM FACT ABOUT ME -- Oddly enough, I've found that I generally get along with older generations and kids much better than I get along with people my own age. Is that weird??
