What in the name of huge snowfall's that come overnight and are stupid is going on?!?!
I think you probably get what I'm saying... YES, I must've jinxed it *sad face*. BUT, at least it's melting away already. And it's a good thing I didn't have my GEO up here yet, she most definitely would've gotten stuck this morning! (Spring come back I love you!) *hands flower*? :3
Alriiighhhhttt. What did I talk about last...(yes I did just look back at what I said)
WELL, I'll start with the weekend!
Friday - a niece of mine needed a bit of help on the piano (no I don't really play piano which is why my helping her seems slightly ridiculous to me), SOOO yes that and then her mom (my sister in law) made a delicious broccoli/ham/cheese dish...I'll just say it was awesome! Met up with Francesca (yes we hang out basically most of the time) and we headed over to hang out with a group of people at the Strongbad's place. He is generally hanging out with our little group. He thinks I was the one who brought him in - really he did pretty alright on his own I'd say :D And the reason for this event - Back To The Future. What started the idea - people finding out I hadn't seen it before :X Well, now I can say I've watched BTTF 1 and 2 (I'll get to 3 soonish). I quite enjoyed the first one...and then I didn't pay as much to the second, so I don't entirely remember it. But it was still fun! He's always interesting to talk to.
RUNDOWN ON STRONGBAD -- He's very smart - loves to learn new things. He always seems to be reading and he's quite talented and enjoys making himself very well rounded (not physically). Physically he's quite lean and enjoys working out, and he's quite fond of his bike. He seems to love talking to people.
BACK TO THE STORY -- So we (Francesca and myself) stayed talking with him for a bit after (quite a bit...). And then of course she stayed over! We then hung out for a bit and parted ways to get a few things done (well she had to get things done...I hung out with someone else... x) _) SO yes... Chica and I got pizza and spent a few hours talking which we hadn't really done on our own before, so it was nice!
RUNDOWN ON CHICA -- She's very friendly, cheerful and easy to get along with :) Seriously she's pretty much friends with everyone. She's preparing to go on a mission (if you don't get what that means just ask :D). Love her! {PS> I have referred to chica as Beatrice in a previous post, so chica/Beatrice = same person ;)}
AND BACK WE GOOOO -- So she had things she had to do so I took her home and headed home myself. I heard of a few things going on but didn't particularly feel like going out. So Francesca headed back to my house and we watched The Fighter. Which I really didn't find all that amazing actually. I'd probably only give it a 2 out of 5. Some people have really liked it...but I just found the mom and sisters soooo annoying. And the story itself wasn't intriguing enough for my likings. But don't take my word for it - check it out if you wish :)
Sunday was the standard, Church (which had a great testimony meeting by the way), dinner, a few people came over - we talked and played cards.
Mondayyy - work, FHE, and then $2 last hour swimming ;)
Tuesday - nothing especially exciting.
Wednesday - work, kick class, and then some people wanted to try out a different pool than the standard! To "Valley" we went. I was bitter for a few reasons....
1) I was there half an hour before everyone else (because they're lame)
2) The hot tub was down (the insanity?!?)
3) We went there for 2.5 hours, (thus paying the full $10.10) and this water park just wasn't as good!
(Plus the water pressure in the slides was just not enough)
ANNNNDDDDD that's enough complaining! Overall it was pretty fun, just not as good as the usual SL ;) (we still went to the usual Denny's afterwards) :D
Also, got to talk to Lambie quick for a minute! (Nice to hear your voice ^.^)
Thursday - long gym day! Got to do good ole TKO :D YAY!
Friday - woke up to the heap.... :P
That's it for now! I'll get another one up soon ;)
Hope all is well!
Byeas for meow :)!
(Shout out to Nani... you know why :P)
RANDOM FACT ABOUT ME -- I'm about to sound like a swine... but from reading many of my posts you probably already know how it is ;) ANYWAYS, I love easter! I love chocolate and everything in egg form tastes delicious! It's kind of amazing... (and of course there's the spiritual side to it, which is also kind of amazing - most of you know what I mean)
Later!
Sometimes I just feel like rambling. Oddly enough, I'm more likely to share things here than to write a journal. So here we gooo....

SPRING?!?!
Could it be? Has spring truly arrived?!?!!???
I sure hope so!
There's still snow on the meltdown, but the sun is up and it looks pretty glorious out I'm not going to lie. (Though it isn't quite as nice out as it looks - but who cares!! This is a start fo sho!)
Along with Spring, comes my daydreaming about Summer (it's probably a disease). Oh, how I long for those sunny, hot relaxation filled days! Which makes me think about what I'd like to do this Summer! (Something even remotely exciting needs to be done every Summer...it's just the way of it). And so far I'm not entirely sure what's going to happen...ideally a few things really!
1. The sis (lets call her Lambie (; ) and I want to go to Texas as we have another sister living there. So that would be a nice little hot vacay :D (also her and I have never been on a vacay together.... just a stay-cay [which you may or may not remember from a previous post ._.]) So hopefully this happens!
2. W is getting married this summer, so that will be eventful in and of itself.
3. Ok...I didn't get this far in my thoughts yet, hopefully there will be a BUNCH of little adventures happening around here ;)
Anyone have exciting summer plans?? :D
Well this week I've kind of been thinking about people quoting movies. I know a couple of people who do it all. the. time. I kid you not...sometimes I wonder to myself - Hmm, do you have any of your own thoughts up there??
Don't get me wrong - I do it too! I think a couple quotes every now and then are just fine ~ especially if everyone has seen the movie and is either laughing or quoting along.
But when only a couple of you have seen it and you keep going for 5 minutes (seriously), it's a liitttttle ridiculous. And that was my rant(s) of this post :3
So around here it's become kind of a tradition to go swimming on Wednesday night for the last hour (9-10) for $2 :D It's quite fun and even still a mini-work out! So that's what I was up to wednesday (and then to Denny's...we go a lot...).
Thursdayyyyy - work and then gym, that's it haha. I went to a couple classes - Zumba and then TKO. It was my third time being to TKO, which I'm really enjoying. I don't remember if I've described it before...but it's a boxing circuit training class. We have a bunch of stations where you go as hard as you can for a minute. It has a variety of cardio, legs, abs, arms, and boxing :D It's quite fun HOWEVER...it reminds me of kickboxing and how much I miss it :( Sweet sweet kickboxing...

ANYWAYS...I believe that will be the end! Actually...I'm going to throw a random picture of myself up! I haven't put a recent picture up in quite awhile because 1. My camera is broken and 2. My webcam is broken and 3. Cell phone pictures just aren't as fun...Nonetheless - cell phone picture for ya! Lame i know. BUT LOOK AT THE GLORIOUS SUN IN THE BACKGROUND! (Ignore the snow...it's still trying to melt)
Toodles for meow :)!
RANDOM FACT ABOUT ME -- I honestly can't smile normally in a picture. It does not happen. Unless someone were to snap a picture of me smiling normally in life, a normal smile and me don't come together in a photo. Either I make a kind of smirk (as seen above) or I go into a kiss/pout/Zoolander type face. That's just the way of it...
I feel like I want to put a song up... So I'll link this (:D) - I've been enjoying this song on the radio as of lately. It's kind of cool to me as it's a fairly new song but it sounds older and reminds me a lot of...Whitney Houston probably. (This chick looks totally weird though, I prefer not to watch the video...haha). And here's a song that I also enjoy! Lately I've been thinking about the movie Blue Crush as I've been hearing Cruel Summer on the radio a bit. So here goes! (see if you can guess what it is before you listen! ;)
I sure hope so!

STOP SNOW >:|
So this past weekend.... another HUGE snowfall. It's slightly depressing really.
SPRING WHERE ARE YOU!?!
I'm kind of hoping my spring call will be answered and and that she'll accept my invitation! Then again (with my luck) it'll probably keep snowing for FOREVER! Jeez...I hope not. All I really want is Summer, I'm just willing to settle with Spring...(don't tell her I said that :X)
Anyways...if you're forgetting what Spring looks like, it should be a little something like this...

OR THIS! (AWE CUTE!)

Notice the beautiful lack of snow on the ground? Alright enough daydreaming (Spring please come *puppy dog eyes*)
SO...life. Well it was a pretty tame weekend, which is quite alright! I'll go over the highlights!
Friday night...White China made and brought me a cake :D It was seriously delicious! Everyone should do this! (And by this I mean everyone should make and bring me a cake ;3) hehe.
Saturday/Sunday was General Conference which was pretty great this time around! Definitely a lot of talks on service...guess we should get on that...
Sunday, a few people came over for a mini feast of LASAGNA (ya...I didn't make it, go safeway brand! It was pretty tasty though).
OH! I should mention, Francesca did her marathon on Saturday and did her 42.4km in 3:45:08 (pretty darn good if I do say so myself - couldn't do it, lack of training and battery)
Monnnddaaay... work then FHE, we did egg decorating and then afterwards I saw HOT ROD for the first time! It was definitely stupid, but even moreso utterly amusing! I give it ****(out of 5)!
Then on the way back home, a couple people were talking and I felt terribly uneducated! Like I'm no idiot (shhh...) but in their conversation I sure felt like one... :P I need to start reading again... and soon get back into school!
Those are the basics...nothing eventful really. But life is still going splendidly. And hope yours is too! How was your weekend? Watch General Conference at all? Thoughts? What should I do for my FHE?!! (this monday) Though I think I have an idea ;)
Byeas for meow :)!
RANDOM FACT ABOUT ME -- I'm beginning to forget what I've written for these things...So I'll pick a random object and tell a story from it. FIRE HYDRANT! Alright, when I was in nursing, they had us do a "virtual training" of what to do and how to use a fire hydrant and likewise, put out a fire. You could only be "certified" if you put it out in a certain amount of time. I know I did it within the time limit but I remember feeling like this would have not be what a real situation with a fire would be like at all! And ya... that's it :D THE END!
Ok...that didn't feel like a random fact at all, so I'm going to do a round 2....
I used to be kind of obsessed with the movie Twister. I always wished I could see a hurricane/tornado of sorts and I still do! I'm sure I'd be one of the stupid people standing there staring.
ANNNDDDD here's a random ridiculous video link for you to check out. The title reminded me of it...I'm warning you, it really is ridiculous :D
It really just makes me want to dance like that...

Friends? :3
Alright weekend over - back to reality (oh there goes gravity -- what song am I using here). No hints! No google! But if you do know... comment ;) And you get a point! (A meaningless point - but a point nonetheless).
So it was a pretty goooood weekend overall! You realize how quickly you can become close with someone after just spending a large amount of time over a short period. I've really gotten to know quite a few people and I like them all! But throughout the weekend, there was a core group that spent the most time together - and I'll tell ya, there was some bonding! (not in weird ways...if that's how it sounds). Once you spend a lot of time with someone or just start connecting with them and hearing more about their life...it's bound to happen! I quite enjoy the people I have around me and I'm grateful to know them! Haha. My perspective on friends has changed quite a bit since leaving the bridge... I still enjoy having a few very close friends (which is more what I had), but here I've gotten to know and become friends with a LOT of people. And I will say it's difficult to maintain that friendship and keep things going and help them feel cared about (in a sense). But I'm doing my best, and I'm happy to know the people I do.
A few people of noteworthy mention for now will be...
...Francesca (yes, I do still alter the names) a spunky youngin'! (I'm no longer the youngest one). She's very artistic (in fact she did a portrait of me :o ), very pleasant to be around and also loves a good argument - she's always right. She's also a runner and is training to do a marathon (go you!). She spent the whoollllle weekend with me, and I will say it was fun! I'm glad I could get to know her a bit and can't wait to get to know her more.
...BK a joker that all can get along with. He's quite amusing but knows the limit and doesn't take things too far. He's one of the people that can really bring a group together, easy to talk to. He's also artistic and works in constructionish.
...White China so chill and relaxed but quite funny. He's very quiet sometimes, but when he does say something...it's always worth it. And he makes the best facial expressions. Overall - quite amusing!
There are definitely more people...but I would say that is the core group as of now. And I hope no one gets offended for not getting mentioned because I know more people hang out and I still love you and think lots of you and have things I could say about everyone!
Anyways, I'm glad for all the people I have met... I know it's difficult to maintain relationships especially when you don't see people very often. But I'm trying my best for what I have the time for right now. Love you all!
Shout out to W, good luck in your school and wedding prep. My thoughts and prayers are always with you and your family and you know what that entails. Love you :)
And that's it for this one :D
Au revoir for meow :)!
OH! Check out this song.... I guarantee lots will think it's annoying, but I just thought it was and interesting combination that I came across. No hints! Just check it out! ;o
RANDOM FACT ABOUT ME -- I love swimming :D I like to think I'm a water baby, of course I can't REALLY swim (I more dog paddle) but I STILL love to do it :3

Weekend has rolled around again
Motivation to do a blog? Very very low. Chance that I'm actually going to follow through and finish and post this? High. If I set my mind to it - I'll do it, so here goes...
My favorite day of the week - Friday :D The last day of work, the possibilities of an exciting weekend, and just a small sense of accomplishment for getting through yet ANOTHER week of the regular life. Is there a way to make every day 'extraordinary'? Well probably, just take a look at the word...ordinary with extra added in. So it's just about finding one thing every day to just make it a little something 'extra', whether it be going to the gym, reading, watching a show, relaxing, bubble bath, or whatever! But I think it's fairly important to do a little something every day just to make it that much better! Life is meant to be enjoyed, not just endured. Keep that in mind... haha.
So, lately people have been coming over to my place on the weekend. And, as far as I can tell anyways, people seem to quite enjoy it. I can usually get a pretty good little crowd of people (and by good of course I mean fantastic - clearly if I'm friends with them they're awesome [: haha) who get along well and can have a fun time together. Not to mention I've either had brownies or cookies everytime... haha, that probably helps make things a little better ;) And I freeze grapes **SIDE NOTE** Have you tried frozen grapes? They're kind of amazing... it makes grapes just that much better (unless you don't like frozen things?) TRY EM! **RETURN ** and provide other snacks and cut of carrots and celery and yes... If people are going to keep coming, they're going to have to start bringing their own contributions. I can't pay to feed all these folk all the time D: So this will need to be sorted out if it keeps happening...
Other than that - standard. Work, gym, home, eat, shower, read, bed. (Really that's pretty much it). But that's ok, I enjoy the standard day :)
A NOTEWORTHY SIDE NOTE** - It looks as though spring just MIGHT be here. So help me if it gets really cold again now...I'll probably cry (kid you not). Summer is my favorite time, so Spring being here would be simply fantastic! It's not really all that warm out, but it is above zero...most of the snow is melting away and most importantly - THE SUN IS SHINING :D YAY!
And if it's spring time...I can go get my Geo again ;) I've been missing her and she's much better on gas, and much smaller and yes :)
OH! And Happy St. Patty's to all y'all! Hope it was splendid - anyone do anything exciting? I just went to the gym, got groceries and went home...oh the festivities~! Haha. I was just looking back at my post from a year ago...and my feelings for St. Pat's still haven't changed. And green is still my favorite color :D I just don't like seeing it everywhere. And yes, this is green because of my love for green... sorry Nan, hope your eyes are alright ;)
Anyways, I believe that is it...to my sister 'Lambie' I send you a caw! ;3
A couple of songs that I want to leave you with is On The Floor -->
annnddddd Just Can't Get Enough :)
Let me know what you think of them~!
ALSO - anyone have any absolutely amazing cookie recipes?? Let me know, I enjoy trying new ones :)
Ciao for meow :)! (Or should I say top of the mornin' -.- lame I know)
RANDOM FACT ABOUT ME -- I'm slightly competitive...not in all things, but some. At FHE on monday... afterwards some people were playing football/catch/jackpot, and well I'll just say some people were surprised at how competitive I was haha. I was definitely shoving and jumping and lunging and yes. Surprise everyone? haha. I'm a lady I am!

CHICKA POW!
No meaning behind the title... just March coming in, with a bang? Sure...
ALRIGHTY! So it's been yet another month, but tis alright! Because 1. Nobody really reads this and 2. I don't have interesting things to talk about. But nonetheless, I be back. ;o
Hmm...story of my life as of lately...
The sis went back to Jakarta (Indonesia), so I'm a lonely duck again :'[ (Hope all is well with you <3)>
SO this past weekend...I began with the standard (morning Kick class followed by some Zumba), then got some groceries...went home and cleaned the place, then cleaned myself. And got ready to get out and up to things! So, I don't know if I've mentioned her before (don't think I have) so I'll call her Beatrice! I decided it was time to hang out with Beatrice, and along with her...we had a Robbyjandro (more like we were with him - he was driving us around hehe). Well, we went to see Tron (yes, again) and it was just as good as the first time - though it wasn't in 3D :( We then went back to Beatrice's place and soon decided we needed a late night Denny's run - YAY! So we went and got our french toast on! And then a couple other things before heading home... nice and sleepy like. Then of course it was church (and along with that choir). Anyways - nothing particular to point about church. It was good though haha. After that, Beatrice came over for some nacho's (:D) and then we hung out with a few other people to watch the Academy Awards and play a couple games (the game is Mao - it's amazing). That's the basic drift of what I've been up to as of lately!
I still enjoy life! Nothing really new persay. (Not that I can presently think of anyways?)
I suppose I can throw in another couple random updates.... As for the "no sugar" I mentioned last time. Well I could lie to you and say it went well....but I kind of just told you it would be a lie *sigh*. We lasted a bit, we didn't do terrible. But I find it's better to have a little indulgence from time to time than to put it off and then have a huge binge fest. SO yes, that's the way of it. That mission was aborted soon after it begun ;)
Another thing that isn't really mine to tell...but oh well, not going to say much and it's not as though it's a secret. The W is now engaged, to the giant. It wasn't really surprising (kind of bound to happen I suppose)... but anyways, happy for them and best of luck in the planning and your future together ^^
So, hope you all had a splendid February! And looking forward to another weekend. I'll have to decide what I'm going to get up to this time around?
But that is all...I think
Toodles for meow :)!
RANDOM FACT ABOUT ME -- I got some blood work done. And apparently I'm not as invincible as I thought. I have a relatively low iron and am considered anemic (BOO! :[ ) So this explains why I'm such a good sleeper and feel tired all the time. And another thing as of lately is that sometimes I almost black out at the gym (no good). BUT ALL IS WELL :D
OH! I'm going to throw in a song I've quite enjoyed as of lately (and sis of mine! this is the song we thought might be Duffy in that trailer). It's called Rolling in the Deep and it is by Adele - and go!

Welcome to February
So I managed to avoid this for the entirety of January. But never fear! I'll escort your cupcakes to safety! (Don't worry about it...it was an ad on the radio -.-) Little jingles are always running through my head and it's slightly irritating, but at least it's never boring up there? *shrugs*
SO, where did I leave off? I have no idea. Hmm... well for pretty much the entirety of my being gone I was actually dating The snuggler (I mentioned him a couple entries ago...I'm too lazy to link it). We dated for just over 5 weeks. I'll give you a basic rundown - we started hanging out more and more, other guys would ask me to do things but because I was spending so much time with him in particular...I figured I owed it to him to give him a chance. He was a great guy, really nice and easy to get a long with. But I would say there were a few downfalls....
1. There didn't really seem to be much of a "spark" there.
2. I felt very unsure about him - people have told me that I should feel more sure.
3. Sometimes it seemed like he was more into movies/games/whatever than me.
My feelings can kind of be related to this song...
So I don't know entirely if I made the right decision. But it is what I chose and I'm sticking to it. I felt really bad the first little bit after the breakup because he seemed pretty hurt and I had been telling him that all is well (I like to hide my uncertainties sometimes)...and ya I felt terrible.
But I think things are ok now. I feel alright about things and I hope that all is well with him. We haven't talked much in person but we have texted a bit since the breakup. Today was our first encounter in person since the breakup (at church). It was alright...it seemed like we were slightly avoiding eachother. I don't know. It was meh(?), I suppose really it's what's to be expected after a breakup. So that's the way of it. Everyone at church could tell we had broken up as well because we usually sit together and usually talk....and well, as you've probably guessed...there was none of that. But I think the worst is over. Sadly though I miss him. Sure I miss the idea of being in a relationship - having someone there for you all the time and someone to hang out with and all that jazz. But I miss him as a person and friend as well. I'm frequently reminded of him from all the activities we did. But I reckon this is expected as well... ANYWAYS...enough of that ramble fest (well in regards to that anyways ;))
What else...there's a few things that I'll choose not to mention. But I can say that my sister is back from her vacay for a while (for a couple more weeks). It's been nice having her around. We're gym buddies, cooking companions, work friends, and roomies :) We do pretty good together (I think so anyways). Not to mention we've made some delicious meals and we now both have fun at the glorious Kick class. Yay~!
OH! I got a haircut :) But I can't really show a picture...because someone "fixed" my laptop for me and I either no longer now how to take pictures using my webcam or he removed it's capability to do so. Either way, you don't get to see. But I like it and I was in need of a change. ^^
Hmm, mentioning my haircut actually takes me back to last Saturday...when Hettie and I decided to have a 'Staycation'. It was supposed to be glorious and it was all going to start with going to a movie. Little did we know...we picked the wrong movie (and that's an understatement I assure you). We went to Black Swan for about an hour and talked about leaving several times before this point. She was covering her eyes and I was staring at it...unable to look away and I'm embarrassed to admit it, but I started crying. Hettie and I then left. Clearly I don't do good with scary movies, but she doesn't really either. Needless to say, we both learned our lesson - that movie is wretched (unless you're in to the whole dark twisted weird scary disturbing thing?). So this put a damper on our moods. I tried to lift mine with a delicious George cookie, but alas....no worky :( But then I got my haircut and we both seemed to be a bit better. We then went out for a delicious supper at Open Sesame after shopping for a bit. And then we went out dancing for a bit, and then bedddy-by.
I'm sure I'll be thinking of more things to add and more things to say but for now...I'll post this. Hopefully I can get another one up before March, but you never really know with me. So hope all is well in your lives...let me know how you're doing :)
Ciao for meow :)!
RANDOM FACT ABOUT ME -- I usually like to have sugar in some form (ice cream, chocolate, or some sort of treat) every day. But the sis and I are trying to adopt a healthier lifestyle. (Meaning no sugar...no processed junk foods obviously, we never eat out.) So basically just things from the food guide....wait...isn't ice cream on the food guide? D: We started February 2nd and have had one cheat day since then (the 4th because another sister called us up and asked if we wanted to come for homemade pizza and also homemade chocolate popcorn - ya...there was no turning that down). And we've been back to being strong ever since. It was hard being good all weekend. But we did it! I feel like I'm going crazy and starting to have withdrawals without my glorious sugar D: I'll let you know how it goes.
