Reese bars you better start reproducing...

Hi there! My name is Trudy and today seemed to be pretty swell!

And it's all because it included this beauty! I don't know if I've told you this before... but I LOVE Reese bars! They're so marvelous - MUCH better than the cups. So here I was, minding my own business, staring at the package, when I noticed something...

What.......

WHAT!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!??!????!

LIMITED EDITION!?!? What in the name of delicious Reese bars is this world coming to??!?

So I immediately did the only logical thing I could think of and called the Hershey hotline (1-800-468-1714 if you were wondering). The conversation went as follows:
Mr Hershey Man: Let's start with your last name and postal code.
Me: Johnson and T2E-7A4
MHM: Alright Miss. Johnson, how may I help you today?
Me: Well you see, I was looking at my Reese bar here...and I noticed it says Limited Edition. How limited edition is that exactly...?
MHM: If you give me the UPC I can check on that for you.
Me: *gives UPC*
MHM: Alright, so you're wondering about the Reese bar...correct?
Me: ...yes...
MHM: It says here those were first produced around March/October of 2010. I don't know if more will be produced... so they should be running out here fairly soon.
Me: D: That's quite tragic, they're very delicious.
MHM: I'm sorry to hear that.
Me: So am I. Thanks for the information.
MHM: Anything else I can help you with?
Me: No thanks, that's all I was wondering.
MHM: Alright, you have yourself a 'sweet' day Miss Johnson.
Me: You too... (is sad inside, even with his awesome use of words...)

Based on a true story. And it resulted in a sad Trudy....

Stocking up on Reese Bars begins now.

Fin.
(I'd like to think I made that man's day a little better...)

  1. I know your pain. Last year my family bought this AWESOME-sauce sauce called Jamaica-mistake and we fell in love with it! However it was only a summer item so once the leaves came off the trees, the sauce came off the shelves. We just figured, "no big deal, it'll be back next summer." but we were wrong. The Costco people let us down and we haven't seen another bottle since. It is truly a tragedy.
